Interakt is a guidance and training centre devoted to personal development, recovering from trauma, and education. In our 25 years of experience, we have specialised in a trauma treatment method based on Identity-oriented Psychotrauma Therapy (IoPT), which has been developed by Dr. Franz Ruppert over the past 30 years.
Interakt introduced this method in the Dutch language area in 2006 and is committed to its dissemination via seminars and translations of Dr. Franz Ruppert’s books into English, as well as through personal guidance and intensive training sessions and education.
Personal Development
When you experience a stagnation in your life, or recurring emotional or psychological problems, or when your relationships, health or personal well-being are under pressure, unresolved (childhood) trauma may be at the basis of this. Unfortunately, this link is far too often overlooked in the regular health care system. We specialise in working with the effects of (early) traumatisation on people’s personal development, their relationships with others, and their psychological, emotional, physical, and social well-being. We take the impact of shocking (childhood) experiences seriously, help you to work it through, and facilitate the restoration of your connection with yourself, others, life, and your own life goals. Our method brings together conscientious attunement, carefulness, and a clear sense of purpose.
Individual sessions and workshops
We offer individual sessions, couples counselling sessions, and workshops in which participants can benefit from our method to work on their own issues.
Due to the Covid-19 lockdown measures, these sessions and workshops currently take place online. For more information, or to set up an appointment, please contact our secretary’s office: secretariaat@interaktiel.nl.
Learning bites and short courses
In practice, it turns out that people are often in need of information about subjects that concern their own life experiences. To provide such information, we regularly organise webinars.
In the beginning there is love… or not?
How do early attachment and childhood trauma (ACEs) influence adult lives?
(A series of 4 live online lectures, 1.5 hour each)
Many problems experienced by adults with regard to relationships, emotions and behaviour seem to be related to their early attachment experiences. What we learn about ourselves, about life, and about living together with others, often comes from our primary attachment figures and is learned at a very early age. In response to the apparent need for more information about this subject, we developed the following series of 4 live, online, home lectures:
- In the beginning there is love…
How do we learn to live, and what do we learn about ourselves, if there is love from the very beginning? - (In the beginning there is love…) Or not?
The long-term effects of childhood trauma and attachment wounds on the physical, psychological, emotional, and social well-being of adults. - Coming to love yourself
Healing attachment wounds to restore the flow of love to ourselves and interrupt destructive behaviour patterns. - The flow of love
How can we lovingly support next generations in developing authenticity, autonomy, and interconnectedness?
Education & Training
Many therapists, teachers and youth workers are eager to learn how to incorporate our specific trauma treatment method in their own work. To this end, we have developed a range of training options that vary from introductory training to basic training to extensive one-year training, all of which can be customised to focus on specific subjects, such as attachment trauma, sexual trauma, or the effect of trauma on partner relationships.
Due to the Covid-19 lockdown measures, all education and training currently takes place online. For more information, or to inquire about customised training, please contact our secretary’s office: secretariaat@interaktiel.nl.
Special seminar with Dr. Franz Ruppert
We are excited to offer you the opportunity to attend a live online seminar and lecture with Dr. Ruppert on April 24 and 25, 2021. Given our experience with the highly successful online seminar with Dr. Franz Ruppert on November 7 and 8, 2020, we are confident that this online seminar will be just as inspiring as the physical seminar has been in previous years.
The most recent work by Dr. Franz Ruppert raises a question even more pressingly than in previous years: Who am I and what do I want?
Who am I and what do I want? Self-encounters through the resonance method will therefore be the theme of the online seminar.
The theme of the online lecture is: Who am I in a traumatized and traumatizing society?
